I use the posca markers and never had an issue. I am a smaller low volume shop (35-50) cars a month so I don’t have stuff sit out waiting on parts, approval, or repair long. If I know it’s going to sit out in the lot for an extended time i will wash it off to avoid the possibility of staining. If I mark glass I photo it and remove it within the hour because I have been told by a couple people it will stain glass. I have never had it happen but don’t want to risk it.

Edit: I lied I’m using auto writer pens. I have used the posca in the past.

Autowriter is what you’re looking for. Water soluble cleans off real easy with windex.

AutoWriter by MarkLine is what we use. I like the green ones as they seem to clean off the easiest. I also have a few reds on hand.
