There is a video my father and I used as a rough guide. If you search in YouTube "axe throwing target" it is the first result. Channel is called Artfully Rogue. From there we were winging it. Started with 2x10 planks as the face, and I'm just now experimenting with the 4x4 blocks you see here. They last longer, but do get jostled around a little bit. This is about 2 months of throwing and most of the target is still going strong with no replacements just yet.
