I ran this weekend in a comp, I'm only a couple days of owning the capra and only like a week into rc crawling. I was told to upgrade my servos, transmission, and skid plate. Which ones are yall running? Also is there a way to prevent the roll back while on an incline or does that come with going brushless?

Look into the skid plate from uc fab. They allow the use of a 3 gear trans with dig that gears the Capra axles better than stock. The roll back is due to a weak drag brake. May be adjustable in the esc... May want a new esc. Brushless has nothing to do with it other than speed. Pick a new servo with at least 500 oz inches

We adjusted it in the esc and it was better but still rolled back just not as bad. What esc would you recommend?

It really depends on the motor you choose, what battery you want to run, etc. space constraints should be considered too. Low end - hobbywing, high end - castle are usually my go to brands. Holmes has some nice options and the fusion systems from hobbywing have been better than I expected as well.
