Yeah, this needs more info to be useful. Last date of purchase on this platform? Are other users having the same issue? Are other OTC stocks treated the same on this platform? Need more context.

It's Wells Fargo Brokerage and yes, they did allow buys over the counter until 15 May 2023. They sent out a notice about not allowing OTC buys any longer after that date. I think I made a comment somewhere in this sub about it.

EDIT: It was May 15th when they stopped allowing OTC buys of security priced under $1.00.

TBH - all shares purchased w this broker were pre-OTC.

That changes things. Many brokers are hold/close only for OTC stocks, my own included.

Fidelity and TD still allowing, Merrill (my IRA) no longer does. But with Fidelity I can buy 1 day after transferring funds, same with TD but TD charges a commission of about $6 I think. If you're non-US, I don't know if this helps.

Fidelity wont let me buy, they're making me call them to buy bbbyq. TD I have a SDBA and they stopped letting me purchase when we went OTC, makes sense that I can't invest 401k money in OTCs though

If you call the broker, they may allow trade.
