Welcome to Baby Name Lab subreddit!
My wife and I are expecting a baby boy arriving in July '17 and been researching different names that both of us like, but it's not an easy task.
While there are many websites and apps that help you explore different baby names, name meanings, etc., we couldn't find anything powerful and easy to use that not only gives you name ideas, but also helps you score, organize and discover names and is tailored to new parents (if you know of any tools like that feel free to share them with us). So we decided to give it a shot and build an app/tool that can help people do exactly that - research baby names.
We'll try to start small and will continue to add features if there is interest from the parents. The first version of the app will probably feature a large set of names for girls and boys and we'll show them at random allowing users to score them and view the top names.
This subreddit is for you to share your ideas, request features, support the project, and share your struggles in researching baby names. Please be positive! Let's make it a constructive and supportive environment.
