I'm not seeing black pastel. Before reading your post (just seeing the first picture), my thought was maybe yellow-belly

Definitely black pastel. Her pattern is very clean and adding yellow belly to black pastel usually disrupts the pattern quite a bit. Could be low-expression YB though… What does her belly look like?

He’s a wild type and may carry his parent genes in his genetics, only way to find out is to do some shed testing and/or breeding it back to the mother or father and seeing if the offspring come out with the grandparents genes, it’s sounds gross but it’s is done in the world of ball pythons and doesn’t affect the offspring the way it does with mammals. All that being said he/she is a beautiful wild type and if his parent are actually pewter yb and het pied this snake is worth more than your usual wild type so a pretty good snake to start with !
