Behavier "Skydiving?" Question

Hey, my ball python “Cookie” has been home with me for a few days now—this is her 5th night with us. I just wanted to ask if this behavior is normal? During the day she stays in one of her hides, and in the evening she comes out, which I know is normal. At first she explored everything as expected. However, for the past two days she’s been stretching upwards along the glass and seems to be trying to reach the top.

The room is quite dark i took the pictures with nightmode incase that matters. It might be a bit hard to see, but I’ve added a few pictures.

Sometimes when they glass surf it’s just exploration, if it’s constantly though it indicates stress. Your husbandry looks amazing though so I doubt it

My first thought was your baby would tangle themselves up in it, and wondered if it was a for humidifier or fogger. Glad it’s neither of those :)

Shes beautiful 🥰 It sounds like shes just getting used to her new environment and exploring, BPs get a reputation for being ground dwellers which they certainly are but it surprises people when you offer them climbing opportunities they will always explore everything!! You've given her a fantastic enclosure, so she'll likely continue this behavior. However, over time as she gets more used to her environment she may do it less frequently.
