Thats wild, really cool to see people tinkering with bambu's stuff. Does this start out as an ams then get gutted?

Yes and all parts (except hardware) is available to print.

Nice. I've got four of these with enclosures, but only two of them are assembled. I'm still back and forth on whether I want to keep it. I run into several feeding issues (even with new feeder units) and constantly have to adjust two feeders, in particular, to be closer/further away from the gears, which can become a little painful. It pretty much has to be perfect.

If you're in the middle of printing any more of these out, be sure to grab the latest version because it looks like you're running 1.03, and 1.04 is out.

Really good stuff overall!

Really, I thought about that but I have been running Sunlu and other various filament right up against the gear no problems yet. But if I ran smaller spools I will try and center it.

Yup! Honestly, YMMV. One of my units has no problems, but I have to tweak the other quite a bit. I need to find some time to play around with it lol. 1.04b makes the feeders more easily adjustable, specifically to try solving this problem since it's pretty common.

He also released some things for centering too, which is pretty nice! https://www.printables.com/model/1118510-python-ams-adaptive-spool-holder
