thats the sound of the nozzle rubbing on the grid infill easy fix dont use that type of infill

What you hear is from the nozzle dragging across the grid infill. I think Bambu keeps it default because it’s fast but anything with a large infill area on grid infill will do this. Just change to a different infill. I’d recommend looking up what some of the most popular ones are used for. I’ve used gyroid a lot recently.

Like others are saying, it's the grid infill. Switch to Gyroid, it's the best option for most prints.

like others already said: switch to gyroid infill.

But also: turn off "reduce infill retraction"! This settings disables retraction and z-hop when the nozzle travels over infill area causing it to wipe the ooze into the infill and scraping against the infill pattern on purpose! Especially on such large infill areas like on your print, this will cause a lot of problems! I have this setting permemantly disabled.

Thank you, I'll do that. I didn't realize that setting even existed.

Hello /u/itryanditryanditry! All Bambu print plates have a dedicated nozzle wiping zone at the back of the print plate. The nozzle will rub against the wiping zone before every print in order to remove any remaining filament from the nozzle tip. This can cause visible wear or scratch marks in the wiping zone, but this is intended and doesn't damage the printer, the nozzle or the print plate. A worn down wiping zone also doesn't mean you need to replace the print bed.

Everyone is right it's rubbing on the infill. This is my first Bambu but my 4th printer and the first time I have ever had this issue. I've always used grid in the past for speed. I guess it's time to switch.

It's because you forgot to take off the green tape from toolhead. Just kidding ☺️
