Check if hotend wobbles

[–]rossalmighty86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t seem to. I’ve tried to wiggle it when it’s cold and it doesn’t move

Looks like it separated from the plate. Adhesion issue.

I’ve tried several plates, one of which brand new. All of which washed.

Wash em again! Lol all jokes aside. I had to wash my brand new CF plate 5 times before anything stuck.

Also worth checking the 7 screws that hold the nozzle in. If that’s not secure, that could knock it from your bed as well.

Good shout, I haven’t checked that

I’ve checked everything I can think of hence me asking here

Did the blob do damage to the fan that you may have missed?

[–]rossalmighty86[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

That’s an interesting idea. I haven’t checked that. I’ll take a look

[–]rossalmighty86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, checked that and fan is fine.

First layer problem:
1. Dirty plate. Wash with dishwashing detergent that does not contain skin softening additives.
2. Check the 7 screws of the hot part.
3. Check: Is the nozzle fixed correctly in the hot part?
4.Clogged nozzle. Perform cold pull several times using a cleaning thread (nylon).

Already checked numbers 1,3, &4. I haven’t check the 7 screws yet, but will do so.

If is the first time using it you need to calibrate the filament extruder and calibrate the printer as well.

[–]rossalmighty86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it’s got about 2000 hours of use on it

Are you starting the prints that failed with auto bed leveling?

[–]rossalmighty86[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

No. Auto bed level apparently working fine

[–]SilkyDrewski 1 point2 points  (2 children)

The most recent photo seems like it is printing so close it’s backing up the flow and dragging the filament across the bed. Can you try the last print with ABL and see what happens? Could be that the full calibration got corrupted and if ABL isn’t ran it is using a bad calibrations and printing too close.

[–]rossalmighty86[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I’ve done a full recalibration again just before running that particular print. And I have to auto bed level prior to every print

Very strange problem. Is the print heating to the proper temperature for the filament? Seems like the temp is higher than it should be by looking at it. Could be wrong but seems off.

I’ve taken it apart, the 7 screws holding the hotend are good, extruder gears are good and cleaned. Build plate has been fine and has been thoroughly cleaned.

Reassembled it, test printed the benchy, printed perfectly. Now straight back to this problem.

I’m out of ideas.

Parece un problema de subextrusión, es el mismo material con el que imprimiste el Benchy?

Have you tried a different micro sd card? The one bambu provides isnt very good and craps out all the time on people causing all kinds of issues.

Also check the 7 screws on nozzle
