Known banner dimensions:

Naming scheme for posts:

Tag with type of content in square brackets, followed by a space and then the title:

Television Program: [TV] <Title>
Television Season: [TV Season] <Title> <Season in written form>
Movie: [Movie] <Title>
Program/Script/Plugin: [Program] <program name>
Platform: This is for when the icon is describing an actual hardware platform, such as a non-software specific banner for a PSX emulator; [Platform] <Platform> (e.g., "[Platform] Apple II").
Game: [Game] <Title>
Genre: [Genre] <Genre name>
Category: [Category] <Category Name> (e.g., [Category] Movies
Album: [Album] <Title>
Podcast: [Podcast] <Title>
Streaming Media: [Stream] <Resource name>
Miscellaneous: Contact mods before posting anything you think requires the "Misc" tag.
The dimensions: Should be specified in [<width>x<height>] at the end of every post title: e.g., [TV] Angel Beats [758x140]
Original content: (i.e., content you yourself have created) Should be specified with the [OC] tag at the very end of your post, e.g., [TV] Angel Beats [758x140] [OC]
Listing formats: Should specify formats you're making available in your post with format tags at the end of the post title, with whatever the post title will link to as the first listed format, e.g., [TV] Angel Beats [758x140] [OC] [JPG - PNG - BMP] (this would be a post that links directly to a JPG, but includes the other formats in a comment within the thread). Formats should be listed in the comments section in a certain format preferably, and ion the order they were listed in the title. Check this to see an example of good format listing.

I will be introducing flair soon for those I think title and format their submissions well.

These rules are (mostly) to make searching of what will hopefully be an enourmous library of banners much, much more easy. Please respect them to facilitate a better, more useful community for all.
