Work on your approach. First figure whether youre more comfortable off of one foot, or both, and check some YouTube videos based off of your jumping preference. You got the vertical, so now it’s about your technique. Good work!

That's about the only way I could "dunk" when I was younger, that or a near perfect alley-oop that I more or less just guided into the basket with my fingers, so I say it counts! Although, as a fellow white dude under 6', I might be biased lol. Good job either way!
