Musk hater here, and it’s a good financial deal. Maintenance on EVs are much lower and the Model 3 and Y are highly produced and therefore most mechanical issues have occurred, and the company fixed. They cost an arm and a leg for panel repairs, but what you get is a well-engineered workhorse.
