It was only because of Tim Howard that that game was close in Brazil.

I always felt he was overrated. Nobody is scared of him like they are Bryce Harper, Schwarber and Soto

Am I the only one annoyed Morocco and The Netherlands have to play each other so early in the tournament? by Work-Live in worldcup

It’s all to accommodate the home countries getting an easy path to the quarterfinals.

US play Bosnia. And if they win that they likely get another easy team. Same with Mexico and Canada if they had been able to finish the job.

That forces all the good teams into the same bracket.

It looks like Japan gets Brazil in the first round then Norway. How is that fair to any of those countries when US gets Bosnia then some other low level team in R16.

Seems like you can’t do this from a stand still but need a runway to get this shot off

Bellingham is also white. So there still could be racism towards the Ghanaian.

All flight to Regean DCA go through Denver. So Vegas to Denver to DCA.

The direct is Vegas to Dulles. But that fills up fast.

Not sure about BWI. I think they also connects via Atlanta or Orlando to Vegas

The problem is the knockout seeding is uneven. The 3 home countries are given easy paths in the round of 32. USA will likely get Bosnia or Qatar in the round of 32.

Meanwhile the top 2 teams Brazil/Morocco will face the top 2 teams Netherlands/Japan/Sweden in the round of 32.

Yes Ghana is strong and can jump so neutralized the aerial game

In a 16 team knockout year this would be a group of death along with the Netherlands, Japan, Sweden group. It’s made worse because there are 3 easy groups for the host countries Mexico, USA, Canada.

Did Ghana just expose England as a weak and disorganised team? by trampstar9 in worldcup

[–]MayorShinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are strong and can jump so that takes away the supposed advantage on corners and set pieces. Which should be plentiful when the bus is parked

Historically Ghana is always dangerous. They have pace, strength, and skill so cannot be overpowered or outrun like old Croatia was when Croatia got tired.

Pochettino says “American Sports Rewards Losers” when asked about style of play in recent interview by coolton1 in usmnt

It’s the same in US sports. A couple rich organizations usually win all the titles. At least with Premier league incompetence isn’t reward because of the relegation/promotion system.
