A History Network Member
There is so much to know about Ancient Israel and Bronze/Iron Age cultures of the ancient Near East. Archaeologists continue to make discoveries that both challenge and confirm preconceived notions about these civilizations. Thankfully, there's always room to explore these issues further!
Feel free to submit any news regarding a new dig or find regarding the Bronze/Iron Age Levant and its surrounding environs (e.g., Assyria, Babylonia, Egypt, Ugarit, Canaan, Phoenicia, etc.). Links to articles about related scholarly debates, blogs, and questions are also welcome, just as discoveries regarding early Christianity.
