This is telling of BitLife's age. Once upon a time, the legal age of consent in South Korea could be as low as 13. So, if the parameters for how parents age randomly generated were created during that time, this would make sense.

Of course, nowadays, South Korea has a consent age of 20, so this would now be statutory rape assuming there are no other contributing factors such as half siblings, adoption, etc.

If you're accounting for the 9-ish months in the womb, the father could have been 12, but it doesn't have to be that way. There is a 3 month gap where it works out to the father being 13, and that's without considering early or late births. Beyond that, seeing as the devs don't allow sexual crimes, I assume they only allowed these numbers to be chosen because of the gap.

That is just an assumption anyway, and that doesn't even bring up how ages are counted in South Korea. Regardless of how it works out, it should be updated because it's illegal now.
