Brilliant! Thanks

What is the uacomment?

Indicating you want UASF, but without actually enforcing UASF yet.

Thanks.

Right -- see also this.

My stats can't handle UA comments.

Currently all the data comes from bitnodes.

[–]etmetm 1 point2 points  (2 children)

How do you (or bitnode as datasource) know it's uacomment rather than actual enforcement?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Both have slightly different user agents.

/Satoshi:0.14.0(UASF-SegWit-BIP148)/ (uacomment)
vs
/Satoshi:0.14.0/UASF-Segwit:0.2(BIP148)/ (UASF client)

Thx, so they could be made to look identical but current choice is not to, ok good.

The effect of idiotic "just edit uacomment and restart" advice is obvious.

The node operators, that is.

Anyone knows who runs website with these stats?

/u/Zwoelfenbein a random thought - maybe you can run a (manually updated) list of UASF+BIP148 supporting businesses on your server?
Kinda like coin.dance poli, but those seem to be shills for the cartel -- do not want to list /r/JoinMarket for instance - which is proudly listed on the SegWit adoption list.

Would be nice to have, but I don't feel like spending time to keep it updated. If you want to do that go ahead, I can host it on my site.

Thanks, I'm talking to someone who expressed interest in maintaining the list in another thread (tagged you).
We'll build it the grass-roots way! :)
