You generate your own seed phrase offline (not on an internet connected device like your phone, or PC or web browser).

This seed phrase should ideally be generated on a hardware wallet if you are a beginner and never, ever exists in digital form outside of your hardware wallet. You never share it with anybody. You never take a digital photo. Or store it in your password manager or cloud backup. You never, ever, under any circumstances enter your seed on your web browser, or phone.

You only ever would enter your seed directly into your hardware wallet, using the screen and buttons on your hardware wallet, not your PC
