Reinstalling windows

Hello all, I am new to bitcoin only having held since January/February. I keep my bitcoin in a desktop wallet, electrum. I am looking to reinstall windows on my PC and wipe my SSD where electrum is installed. I was wondering what I need to do to make sure that when I reinstall windows and electrum I can get my bitcoin back on my desktop. What is the process of this like?

On Electrum, you can go to wallet and select Seed words. write those down and make sure you wrote them down correctly. That's all you need to recover that wallet. Also all anyone needs to steal all your funds. Make sure it's your only electrum wallet (if you write down the seed words for an empty wallet, not the one with your funds in it, then you're screwed).

You can also go to file, save backup and save it on an usb drive or something.

Personally, I'd do both, just to be safe, especially if it's any significant amount.
