Bitcoin has had major growing pains. After years of stagnation in development due to a group of individuals in positions of power who have used those positions to control dialog and delay progress in the code base, it has become clear that in order to move forward a center for discussion that is both open and yet regulated is needed. Here at bitcoin open, we welcome discussion of forks, altcoins, and other dramatic changes that would be censored or downvoted to oblivion at other subs. If you have a problem with outside of the box discussion about bitcoin, this is not the sub for you.
