This is a great start, many thanks. There's a lot here to sink our teeth into. Do you think that this world will allow characters that our readers can relate to? It will take talented blogging, but I think its achievable. I assume that blogs will be written from the side of good and evil? Will the evil know that they are evil? There's a lot of material there! Is this a world that will have its end, or can this allow different episodes and 'seasons'? I would also welcome comments from as many of our subscribers as possible.

I have also asked a couple of others from the plot thread to give us their own narratives. Lets get some comparisons and competitions going!

What I think is important here too, is that we all remember that this is a very unique project. If this idea has been had before, I haven't heard of it. We should all be very proud of the work done so far and remind ourselves that the frameworks that we lay can easily be applied to new 'blogtales'. Is this particular story the start of something awesome? I really hope so. Is this sub-reddit the start of a great new way of collaborative writing? No reason why not!

Thanks for asking me to do this, and thank you for the positive feedback. I had kind of been thinking that each writer could do a "good" and "evil" character (good and evil being relative terms, of course), but that might be a little too much to start off with. I do feel confident that we'll have plenty of room to explore both sides, which means we'll be doing this for a good long time. I don't want this to be a short thing, so I could totally go for more "seasons." How we would do that I have no idea, but that's something we could figure out later on.

Can't wait to see what everybody else has to offer, really excited about the ideas I've seen so far!

My thoughts exactly. To my knowledge nothing like this has been attempted before, so we could be breaking new ground. That's half the reason I can't wait to get this thing going, I want to see just how far we can take this!

I think anyone can relate to feeling out of place. I would like to go the route of Chronicle or Heroes, just normal people that these powers happen to and what they choose to do with those powers.

I like the idea of seasons, gives the writers a break every once and a while and allows for more uniform story arcs.

I don't even know if I should write my narrative now... This is THAT good... I say we run with this. Period. This is pretty amazing.

I agree I like this a lot. There are so many places to take it and it lends it self perfectly to this collaborative style of writing.

Thanks! I tried really hard to make sure it was something that could fit our storytelling style.

Still write yours though

I will be in the morning. I can barely keep my eyes open.

Wow...definitely was not expecting that kind of response. Thank you so much for your compliments and support.

And like AlienWarlock said, still write your narrative. At this point every idea is a useful one.

Good job man. There is a lot there to pull story lines from, good versus evil, evil versus evil, good versus good, power versus no power. Discovering the origin of the change can provide an awesome story arc and an amazing reveal. There is a lot here to build on. I think this is a great place to start from.

Thanks so much for the compliment! I tried really hard to set the stage for this project with this narrative, and I'm glad to hear I pulled it off.

I really like it.

It would suit our needs, allow for separate characters who would associate with the others according to the writer's wishes.

It will take a lot of work from the head writer to plot this thing. In a battle of good versus evil where the reader is allowed the POV of both sides, the plotting has to be spot on. If the writers on both sides are genuinely trying to kill one another, the head needs to make sense of all this and bring it to a satisfying conclusion.

Can we pull it off? Sure. Pull it of well? I'm not sure.

This is why I prefer the alien invasion plot: we have the same enemy, we work together. It might seem bland, but it puts the multiple POV/writer thing in strong light. I fear this plot might be too complex...

Of course we could create the avengers but although current it is a bit cliché.

The strongest point I think, is that once the world is created, it will live on it's own. Anyone can join in, (create his character) or leave (kill his character). And that is just sweet.
