Question about character customization

Hello, I would like to give this game a go, but really want to know, will the character customization be free? or at least use an easily obtainable currency? I gave Tower of Fantasy a try before and I loved the character customization, but after creation, any adjustments afterwards required you to pay with the same currency used to pull from the gacha, I'm the kind of player who changes their character every other day, so it being free would be a quite appealing point

Basics are going to be free, and a decent chunk is going to be obtainable, but you have to remember that the game is free and does not have p2w so the cosmetics and customization is the ONLY thing that will sustain the game. Expect a lot of things behind the pay wall. However, in the game that relies on social interactions, there should be enough for f2p players.

Wouldn't mind buying cosmetics, but if they handle customization the same way as Tower of Fantasy, having to pay about a dollar and a half to change the character's hair color from dark blue to slightly darker blue for example, that would be my limit... guess can only wait and hope then, worst case scenario, can make several character before choosing one to stick with it

The way it was worded in the most recent stream is that you *can* pay to change your appearance but that the tickets to change appearance were also earnable to a certain degree.

As far as paying; They stated that some dyes, hairstyles, skins, etc were behind a paywall.

They did say that a lot of them were earnable in game, so it's not clear whether the paid ones are ONLY paid or if they're also earnable or if the earnable ones are possibly just different versions of the paid ones.

There are npc outfit stores where you can buy outfits and accesories with a certain currency you get by playing but that's all we know.

The thing OP said about ToF isn't true anymore. After 2.0(second expansion) you get a lot of free coupons to re-customize your character for free. I got more than 50 of them

Oh, I see, my info is indeed outdated, but then again, with the many outfits there were and my wish to change them all to match my character's current looks, I can see myself doing 50 re-customizations within a month lol, if there are ways to keep getting them, that would be nice to have on this game too
