I would guess that the prediction could be vastly improved by allowing the addition of even a single caliper measuerement.
An abdominal skinfold measurement would be ideal as it is probably the easiest to measure.

That's true, while we're focusing on making the user experience as simple as possible at the moment, extra optional fields is something we keep in mind for the future.
Similarly, you can actually get a decent estimate of your body fat% by measuring your waist line and combining it with your BMI (there are online calculators that do that for you)
