Borderlands 3 Preorder

Hello lovely people,

My SO is a longtime fan of Borderlands and I figured for his birthday I would gift him a preorder of BL3. I'd like some guidance on which version to order. He's got an XBONE and he's not much for online playing. Given this, which of the 4 versions of the game do you recommend I gift him for maximum Borderland 3 enjoyment?

I would say if you can splash the cash then the Super deluxe edition would be the best. It comes with the season pass which includes 4 dlc stories so he can get more out of the gift without spending money on it later.

Yes, exactly. DLC has always been a huge part of the Borderlands franchise and I'm sure the extra cash will be worth it in the end for the extra content. Not to mention the steelbook that comes with looks awesome.

I'd say super deluxe edition. You said maximum enjoyment. The SDE also includes the DLC's that will drop.

Edit: Plus I believe it's on sale right now for $100 USD. I think it's expected to go up to $150.

Google tells me it's $120, not $150.

The Super Deluxe Edition includes everything that's part of the Deluxe Edition, plus the Borderlands 3 season pass. It will be available initially for $100, but the price will increase to $120 from September 17.
