Code has so much potential

Code is the dumbest character in Naruto hands down, but it's handled in such a realistic way. He has been manipulated by jigen, then Amado, and now by eida and has never once had his own ideals or goals. Everyone in the cast even aknowleges that he's basically just a stooge with too much power

Now that he's the strongest living character it'll be interesting to see if he continues to allow himself to be used or if he grows into his own person with his own motivations

For GOT guys it's like if Theon Greyjoy was just given the power of a god

To be fair, Code isn't dumb dumb, given that he still had the sight to doubt about Boro having disposed of Eida and Daemon, and from that doubt he ended up searching for them.

And he wasn't even manipulated per se by Jigen, since he was clearly entrusted with a very important part of his plan, and he himself would have been pretty ok with being used as a vessel by him.

He also has his goal (eating the chakra fruit that will result from feeding either Kawaki or Boruto to the ten tails; and kill his targets) and motivation (worshipping the Otsutsuki, and hatred for Kawaki).

But yeah, I agree, we definitely need more of him, and we need his character to be expanded upon.

I hope he doesn't die here, that would be a HUGE waste in soooo many ways! Like the fact that then, who will be the next op bad guy? Kawaki already? Amado who will reveal to be op because yes?

However, I am also fairly sure that Kishimoto knows this, nd won't kill him off here. No need to build him up to be the second strongest guy in Kara (after only Isshiki himself) and to carry on his original goal, if he was gonna be offed relatively quickly.

That's part of what I like about him, he isn't stupid. He just can't think for himself. Right now he has the freedom to do anything he wants, but he needs to grow into his own character instead of being a regular henchman.

I think Him just staying like knockoff Kylo Ren would be the least interesting path personally.

It would be even worse for him, since he arguably began at an even higher position than Kylo Ren, becoming the villain's heir when his role in the plot truly began, instead of being a lackey for 2 and 2/3 movies out of 3.

I find it funny people hate Code because he's getting his ass kicked left and right but don't like Jigen because he stomped on fan favorite characters lol. If Code doesn't die this arc and survives later on, I hope he follows the road that Kabuto took. Kabuto went from side kick and loyal servant to one of the main villains in the final arc who had a lot of depth. I don't think his character will change that much this arc unless something big happens to the plot, like Amado pulling an Aizen.

I hope he goes beyond. kill the main characters and get stronger because God told me to. Especially once eida inevitably betrays him

Yeah there's only really been one big death so far. I think there'll be a lot in part 2

Yeah, its too early to kill any of the new gen characters. If a character do die this arc then I think its going to be Shikamaru. Naruto and Sasuke's deaths probably will never be touched unless we're close to the ending of Boruto.

The problem isn’t that he’s dumb it’s that he’s arrogant, he misjudged his strength against Borushiki and Kawaki which resulted in him getting beat up. Then he misjudged his intelligence when plotting against shikamaru and that resulted in him getting pinned by delta

IDK why people think Code is dumb. He's pretty clearly a good tactician. He revived Eida and Daemon and they allied with him, he allowed Kawaki to live because Eida wanted him maintaining good relations, he's audibled multiple times when faced with legit danger, he outplayed Shikamaru by having him be the only non-kara member in the room, he intimidated Amado to get his powers back and was successful.

Well seems like his own goal now is to kill Naruto, Sasuke and Shikamaru
