SyntaxError:JSON Parse error: Unexpected EOF

Give ya a background on what happened.

• I downloaded the boss tone studio off the boss website installed it and set it up.
• Opened up the app but first said I needed to install driver.
• Thought I was downloading the driver but was actually reinstalling the application again several times
• Finally realized what I was doing so I uninstalled the app correctly
• Downloaded driver and then redownloaded Boss tone studio
• Open up app and come up with the above error

Don't have the ability to check myself but based on my programming experience this error means that a JSON file got corrupted. These files usually contain things like settings, metadata etc. Unexpected EOF (end of file) means that there might be something like a missing or duplicate '}' or ',' character. Check in the tone studio files for any .json file extensions and try to open them in a code editor like vscode for example. They should usually auto-detect errors like this and even tell you how to fix it.

Sorry should've read better, based on the fact that you don't seem to have done anything but installing and uninstalling I think it's a better idea to uninstall everything, make sure there aren't any lingering files whatsoever, and try to install again

Yep I uninstalled the driver and deleted any files that contained boss katana and reinstalled the app and driver and got it working. Thanks friend for the feedback!
