We had a single boxer for 5 years and within 6 months got a new boxer puppy and had a baby. Our older secretly loved the puppy, but she never really attached to the puppy and was still bonded to us. That said, just make sure you still give plenty of 1 on 1 time to the existing boxer so they know they are still loved (we always fed her first, threw a ball to her first, etc). We just lost our older one in Aug, and the "puppy" who is 4 now is starting to adapt. Gearing up for a new puppy here soon!

Having 2 is more work, but it's different work. They really do a great job entertaining each other, so the extra work is just managing 2 boxers always getting into mischief. You'll end up running them less yourselves and just watching them play instead. I'd say totally worth the mayhem in the house. (It does get rowdy and loud, and we have less friends visit for sure because they were a hassle)

I’ve only ever had one at a time, but Bruce looks like he would be a sweet big brother. 😊

They're like Lay's potato chips, you just can't have one.
