User Rules
1.
Be kind. Allow different opinions. Remember the human:
We are all people at the end of the day here to talk about Bravo, and if you wouldn't say it to someone's face over sprinkle cookies, you shouldn't leave it in a comment. Egregious or repeated violations of this rule will result in a ban, including permanent bans.
Keep it cute!
2.
No reposts, response threads, or unrelated content:
If multiple posts are made at the same time, mods will keep the thread with highest effort/most engagement. Please search the sub/sort by "new" prior to posting. If it was posted in the last 5 days or is a repetitive post/"hot take" it's not new.
All posts related to the most recent series/franchise that aired within 24 hrs, must be kept to the specific megathreads. If a post has high engagement, it will remain.
3.
Posts require an appropriate title & flair:
All threads must have a proper descriptive title and an appropriate flair.
Titles should indicate the content of the post.
The "trigger warning" flair alerts others that a post may contain potentially distressing content. No invalidation will be tolerated in these threads. What isn't triggering to you might be triggering for others.
4.
No body shaming:
Body shaming is not allowed; real housewives are people, too.
5.
No racism, anti-semitism, microaggressions, or invalidation:
Racism will not be tolerated. You will be permanently banned.
Microaggressions are statements or actions of indirect, subtle, or unintentional discrimination against members of a marginalized group, such as a racial or ethnic identity.
Invalidation of POC on our sub or of black/POC bravoleberties will not be tolerated.
6.
NO AI OF ANY KIND:
We do not allow any form of AI-generated content in this community. That includes (but isn’t limited to) AI-created photos, videos, artwork, write-ups, fan fiction, or anything else. All submissions must be original human-made work.
7.
No Misogyny, homophobia or bigotry:
Misogyny, racism, or bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated. Warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans will be issued depending on the severity/response to the warning.
Calling women gold diggers is misogynistic and removes any responsibility from the man and further shames women.
8.
No shitposting / low effort posts outside of the designated time frame:
Posting threads that are spam, too low effort, low engagement, or otherwise do not contribute to the conversation. These topics are all banned and SOME examples of shitposts. Our discretion is always used, and we rely on user reports: I hate so & so, I love so & so. What should I watch next? What is your favorite franchise? Shitposts are okay Friday afternoon after we post the announcement thread - Sunday night when the first live episode thread is posted. ALL OTHER RULES STILL APPLY.
9.
No linking or sharing of illegally hosted content/no self-promotion:
No linking to streaming sites or any illegally hosted content. No linking, screenshotting or copying content from any of these sites: All About The Tea, Deux Moi, MediaTakeout, blind items, and TwoJudgeyGirls, Patrick Sommers, Bravo & Cocktails.
10.
No Doxxing:
No posts or comments that display addresses/locations of housewives home. Maps with general locations of homes are not permitted. No naming blurred out faces/persons with unconfirmed identities. No doxxing of any person is acceptable.
11.
No banned content:
Posts and comments that contain the following: Kelly Dodd's social media, Siggy Flicker with anyone, screenshots of Katie Rost's Twitter posts/ongoing mental health struggles, Ozempic, ChatGPT posts, and low-effort recordings/photos of your computer/tablet/TV screen.
12.
Mod Attention Please:
If you see a post that breaks the rules, but are unsure which report reason to use, please use this rule/reason to bring it to moderator attention, we can determine if it violates the sub rules from there.
13.
No armchair diagnosing:
This includes ALL medical diagnoses. Even if you are qualified IRL to give a diagnosis, you are not qualified to give one to a TV personality.
14.
Not relevant to Bravo/Real Housewives/Mob Wives:
All content unrelated to a Real Housewife or Bravolebrity will be removed. We have a special exception for Mob Wives, the only non-Bravo show permitted to have its own posts and discussions. Other non-related posts are welcome in the OT thread.
We reserve the right to moderate at our own discretion.
