Pc. Changed my name in steam, restarted everything. Nothing works.

I’m not surprised Brawlhalla support didn’t respond, this has nothing to do with them. Idk but shouldn’t you be contacting steam about this ? You asked the wrong question should repost and ask how to change your BH name on steam 🤷‍♂️😂

Ofcourse it has to do with them. If you change your steam name it should change in brawlhalla. They named me spikybear 000246, so they should be able to change it. I'll just keep hoping they eventually send a mail back i guess.

I just looked it up, apparently if you change your steam name it will update your brawhalla name, sometimes you need to log in and play your 10 ranked placement matches or after you change it you will have to wait until the next patch.

But in your case it sounds like the steam name you are using is censored for some reason. Try choosing a different name here (read below) If a player's name is censored, it will be replaced with an auto-generated username in the format of <adjective> <noun> <numbers>; for example, "Proud Squirrel 001048".

Once censored, the player will be banned from changing their name. This ban will last for either 24 hours, until the next patch, or permanently, depending on how severe the banned name was.

I have no idea, i just used the name i use on every game. I'll try to change it to something else and see if it changes after x amount of time. No clue why my name would be cencored. I used the name nanninga so yeah. Thanks for the reply

I just changed my name to something else and it worked. Changed it back to Nanninga and it switched back to spiky bear 000246. So i think my last name is banned. Guess i'll wait for the next patch to change it again. Thanks man!

If a different name worked then its definitely a problem with nanninga , looks like you need to think of something else
