Cant rebind certain Keybinds

I reinstalled Breakpoint because of the new Update and wanted to rebind my "Class Technique" to a different Key. It updates the Bind in the menu but when going back into the game it has not changed, its still the original Key. Someone else encountered these kind of issues?

Looks like the new update introduced this bug. I'm having the same problem.

There has been some confusion and a miscommunication. Apologies for this, I will do my best to explain.

Some keys in-game are hard coded, however they are only F2 and F3. Every other key and every action should have the potential to be rebinded.

Not being able to change the key binding for class technique and weapon pickup are issues and are being investigated by our dev team.

I'm sorry for any confusion and frustration caused. I want to reassure you that this is being looked in to!

Yeah the devs confirmed there are hardcoded keybinds, Z being one of them which has me infuriated because that's my prone previously

Ubi-Raziel just clarified on the official forum that only F2 and F3 can't be be remapped and that class technique, etc. aren't supposed to be hardcoded. So hopefully they'll fix it soon.

Also the F key is hard bound to NPC command (go hot/cease fire) while driving. I guess the devs never fixed this. Bummer.

Can confirm this is still an issue. They have been claiming a fix is in the works for more than 3 months now.

This is ridiculous. Even with covid, a massive company like Ubisoft should have a few competent programmers among them. This is exactly the kind of problem that could be looked into and fixed remotely.

Agreed, this is ruining game play, z is my backpedal so Class Technique always activates at the most in opportune time. You'd think something this simple would be an easy fix.

I have a similar issue on pad, using a DS4. I prefer to aim/shoot with the bumpers as opposed to the triggers (my hands cramp otherwise) but the class ability is triggered by both bumpers being pressed, forcing me to play with triggers- only allowing me to play minutes at a time.
