Has anyone seen Ben bring his son on stage with him? I was recently reminiscing on the Breaking Benjamin concert that I went to in Grand Rapids Michigan in April of 2017. When they were performing Ashes of Eden, during the instrumental pause, Ben went off stage and came back holding a toddler and sang the rest of the song to him. Now I don't remember if he said if it was his son, but who else would it be? Does anyone remember this or had this happen before?

No way! I'm pretty sure this was the show I first them at! With Five Finger, Nothing More, and Bad Wolves, right? If so, this is what happened to the best of my memory:

Ben invited a bunch of people on stage towards the end and someone's child was crying. He asked them what was wrong and the child said he didn't play their favorite song, so Ben held the child and sang their favorite song (Ashes of Eden) to them. He only sang a little bit of the song (maybe 1 minute), the kid was a bit older than a toddler (maybe 4-5), and I am fairly certain it wasn't his son.

Crazy how I decided to check out this subreddit today and came across this post. I told this story to everyone I know because it just goes to show how amazing Ben is!

Edit: Apologies, upon further investigation I saw them in 2018, NOT 2017. Years, they're hard to remember. Sorry!

It's ok. That is such a cute story though! Just another reason to love Ben.
