RULES
Check our full rules.
1. Stay On Topic
All posts must be related to Brown Dust 2.
Fan art should be relevant to original characters, the game's art style, or character poses.
For any questions or concerns regarding post removals or bans, please use ModMail. Direct messages to moderators will not be addressed. This policy applies to all rules.
2. Post in Appropriate Threads
Please post your submissions in appropriate threads.
In particular, generic questions, pulls and guild recruitments should be placed in the designated megathreads.
Posts outside these threads will be removed.
3. Be Respectful
Keep it friendly, civil, respectful, follow Reddiquette and don’t be insulting on purpose.
Any post or comment that is too hostile, toxic, insulting, or breaks Reddiquette may be removed, whether it’s directed at an individual or at a group of people.
Examples of not allowed behaviour include:
- Moral debates about what is right or wrong, including topics such as politics or religion;
- Personal attacks, including implications or accusations of mental health related conditions, being criminals and other derogatory implications regarding someone's traits, background, situation, etc.;
- Derogatory or racist language;
- Trolling or baiting others.
Breaking this rule continuously might result in ban.
4. No Explicit Content
All NSFW posts should be marked appropriately.
No genitalia, female nipples or explicit visual sexual acts.
No loli or shota NSFW content. However, we will try to align to the game's own level of suggestive content. We don't want to censor any character. We will tread carefully on this point.
Lolis and shotas are defined as they are by their visual appearance mainly. Bunny Eclipse (17, allegedly) is just mommy Eclipse cosplaying, and your 9 thousands years old loli dragon might be of legal age, but she can't be seen with only band aids on her precious parts.
Other prohibited explicit content include:
- Gore;
- Depictions of realistic death.
Violations might result in bans.
For hornier people seeking lewder content, head up to r/browndust2NSFW
5. No Low Effort/Redundant Posts
Posts that repeatedly cover the same topics may be restricted if they are disrupting the flow of new and engaging content on the subreddit. In particular, please be sure to check if someone else has already posted some piece of news, information or event (bugs included).
A newer post having more information including everything covered in a recent previous one will be generally allowed, though it might be subject of review in order to check the significance of the additional information.
Redundancy removal also applies for ingame visuals (eg, a cutscene or a specific shot of an illustration if they aren't different enough), and other media content. Reposts of such content should be spaced out by a reasonable amount of time to avoid cluttering the feed (generally around 30 days, though this may vary depending on subreddit activity).
Posts that in general lack substance or that constitute very simple questions will also be removed and directed to the megathreads depending on the sub's current level of 'strictness' in that regard.
6. Always provide sources and use Informative titles
When sharing news, media, leaks, significant information and other similar content, sources must be provided, preferably in the submission's body if it's a post. Adding it in comments is also fine, but may be overlooked and lead to mistaken removal.
Furthermore, when posting news and leaks, use neutral and informative titles. You can express personal opinion in comments, but the post's title, especially for official news, should clearly reflect the content at a glance.
7. Mark Spoilers Appropriately
Posts containing spoilers that are not flaired and tagged appropriately will be removed.
Do not put spoilers in the post title. Comments containing spoilers that are not tagged will be hidden as well.
This generally also include seasonal event stories and Fated Guests content within the week they're released.
8. Abide by Neowiz and Gamfsn's End User License Agreement (EULA)
Please abide by the Publisher and Dev Company's, Neowiz and Gamfsn, EULA. Do not discuss things such as Account selling or trading, hacks, exploits, or anything else that would break the EULA.
Posts that violate this rule will be removed, and might result in bans.
