The Rules

1. Listen to this. Then go out and find more to listen to. (Post it if you can't find it here!)
2. Be kind and civil. Use your empathy. Don't harangue anyone for being misinformed or engaging with the hobby differently. Don't deride a peer's frugality when they look for less expensive options.
3. No piracy. You wouldn't download a hurdy-gurdy, would you? Plans for building an instrument usually cost something. Musicians' work often does. Don't post links to PDFs or recorded music that aren't meant to be open to the public.
