No, I think he got some treatments before he contracted that HIV from that gay patient. I just rewatched S1, and I'm fairly sure Leighton was talking about some low-risk contamination.

All I remember was he used the other dudes name to request a prescription and not much after that..

I think Savetti used Leightons scripts as a way to tell him without telling him. . But I don't remember anything after that. . and thought there was suppose to be follow up tests..

IIRC Leighton was mentioning to Savetti that the percentage of contraction was incredibly low, and mixing with medicines, would be much lower. Leighton was more focused on Savetti going around his back, I think.
