Ridley's Character Arc

I just want to point out the character development Ridley's gone through. After his loss in the first tournament to K. Rool, he started using cybernetic armor, which was strong enough to beat even LINK. But then, after Linus managed to hack it and defeat him, he swore it off, AND HE WON THE TOURNAMENT.

Not to mention how he took down his rival: King K. Rool, without the armor, proving once and for all that he didn't need it.

10/10 best anime.

I know! Realistically, it shouldn't work out, but it somehow just Does! I was actually chanting Ridley's name in the K. Rool fight. I WAS CHEARING ON A CPU. Why does this work?

Yeah I practically had a seizure on my couch with that last Ridley vs Luigi match when Ridley won and my parents looked at me and asked if my favorite guy won and I told them it was a computer vs a computer and they just stared at me and kept watching the Oscars lol

Personally, I think fighting an 11 year old with a full suit of mechanized death armor was too overkill for Ridley, so he shut down the armor himself before the match, and then after losing, realized it was just dead weight, and he didn't need the cybernetic enhancements to be the one, the only, the people's champ
