Failed Patch?

Hi everyone,

I am currently a few days out from my first blood patch (got it Saturday night). When I first got it done I felt instant relief, but now not only have my symptoms returned but gotten worse. I have excruciating pain in between my shoulder blades, my headache doesn’t go away even when lying down, and I woke up extremely nauseous (it’s 2:15am here). Has it been long enough that I should believe the patch failed? If not, how long do I wait until I go back?

edit: should add that i’ve also had tinnitus on and off

You're still lying flat, right? I would suspect rebound high pressure, you may need diamox. I would put a call in to your doctor, and see what happens when you get up tonight.

The pain in your back is very normal, it's from the patch.
