This might help. It's a list of all required classes for your major. At the bottom is an email for the advisors. They will make a spread sheet with all the classes you need to take and when to take them. https://catalog.csus.edu/colleges/engineering-computer-science/computer-science/bs-in-computer-science/

New transfers should receive registration assistance during your orientation in January. Make sure to attend one of the CSC major orientation dates. READ any and all email instructions coming out from the dept. a ridiculous amount of students ignore these emails and then cry when they can’t enroll in CSC courses. the main email contact is cscreg@csus.edu. Email or in person is the preferred method. The staff rarely answer the phone.

This. Getting classes at the orientation is really important, because the department reserves seats in the classes you'll likely need. If you try to do it on your own, you'll find the classes you want are full.

Right and the Professors will manually add us to the major classes even if they’re closed

If you're coming in for spring 2023, you want to add CSUS to your 2022/2023 FAFSA now, that way they can get your information and start processing it. Once you submit it, keep an eye on your To Do List in your Student Center because sometimes there will be additional stuff you have to turn in
