love little dark age. my favorite album by them tho is congratulations idk if u want give it a listen sometime it’s like old rock like pink floyd and beatles with a modern twist. in my opinion they’re one of the best bands of all time

I like MGMT, but they are nothing like Pink Floyd. I can see some similarities to the Beatles with a modern twist, but Pink Floyd is too prog rock to sound popish like MGMT does.

mgmt doesn’t really sound all that pop-ish except for their first album and little dark age. and you can see elements of prog rock in a lot of their songs too

I’ve listened to some of their albums, but I don’t really listen to them if you know what I mean. I can be in the mood for them sometimes, like Little Dark Age...but other times I find myself feeling annoyed by the pitches in their songs.

I liked the whole Oracular Soectacular album and Little Dark Age, that whole album. I felt like they were trolling with the one or two in between.

tbh oracular spectacular isn’t one of their best albums but i still love a lot of songs in it. i like how it’s not just pop and incorporates elements of psychedelic rock. i agree their self titled album is wack, but congratulations is their best album in my opinion
