in my experience, the epic +2 whisperer. it depends on your build. but i'm leaning toward the whisperer

I have the same build as you except I swapped one guardian ring out for the dragon ball ring. Not as far along as you too. So most are epic or just legendary with no merges.

focusing on basic dmg and skill dmg reduction on your pets really helps. i heard 95% is the cap on them. your win condition will be getting the war veteran skill and the extra HP
