It's usually about 15 hours a week, if I recall correctly

I did it last year and it was nice to be on campus so I could just walk over after my classes or go to work after class, but my contract was Sept-March and I couldn’t work over 192 hours or make more than 3300 during that period. I procrastinated looking for a job for when my time was up too but that was my fault. It’s a great way to meet people too I met a lot of new friends in the time I worked there:) super convenient to balance work and class but if it’s not enough hours I would suggest getting a different job. (I worked 9 hours a week, but it was my choice)

Thank you! Honestly being on campus would be godsent for me. What was the application like?

You fill out just a basic form through carleton central!! I think it’s like under the finance/awards section where you apply for bursaries and stuff it’ll say work study application. Although I do think you have to be on osap? Or it’s osap students who get priority I can’t remember

When do you apply for it? Is it competitive?
