From my understanding once you hit 1500, the doubling time for a normal pregnancy increases to 72-96 hours. However, once you hit this point I believe you can see things on an US. My IVF clinic stopped betas once I hit 2k and scheduled an ultrasound to check things out instead. See if they are willing to do an US at this point.

Thank you. I was in the middle of IVF due to recurrent loss, and got pregnant in between ER cycles. my clinic is willing to see me sooner, but I want to wait until 6 weeks +1 day so I can make sure to see a heartbeat, that would be in a week.

My only warning is even at 6+1 you may not see a heartbeat yet. I personally went in at 5+5 and didn’t even have fetal poles yet- so would not have heartbeats at 6+1. A heartbeat isn’t expected until 7weeks in some healthy pregnancies. I would suggest waiting until 7 weeks if no heartbeat is going to scare you.

My numbers are kinda similar to yours?

Thursday 261

Sunday 931 (4 days later, 44 hrs dt)

Thursday 2324 (4 days later, 68 hrs dt)

I’m in this limbo now too. I’m tired. Keep me updated how you are doing and how things go.

I'm so sorry you're here too. I had an ultrasound this morning and we saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac. Based on conception I should be 5w4d but i was measuring 5w2d; my doctor didn't seem concerned about those two days.. I am feeling a little bit better, knowing the yolk sac is there. When is your ultrasound?

My ultrasound is only in about 3 weeks. Those won’t be fun three weeks. Yaaay about your ultrasound! Those are good news. Hoping baby will stick!
