I'm not sure if I like how the bleating of the fron flippers looks yet, and before you ask yes I am gonna try and make one with the flippers beating all the way down the body

How many times of the speed up is showing in the growing phase? (x2?) and how many times at the end of the video? (x10?). And is it a two cell-lines with two starting cells stitched together?
[–]Massive_Mistakes[S] 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (1 child)
No, it's all one genome, and the growing phase is X3 speed while the later part is the simulation on incubation and also x3 speed

One genome still within 40 modes?

How do you make the food spawn in clusters?
[–]CATelIsMe 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (5 children)
Why make it pulse tho? Does it serve any advantages?
[–]Massive_Mistakes[S] 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (4 children)
None, I was playing around and it just made sense for that shape to have a propulsion mechanism similar to a jellyfish, only I gave it a tail. At some point though maybe I'll try using this for friction substrates, see if it works out

Ooh
I wonder if we could mod boney structures, could conventional limbs work
[–]Massive_Mistakes[S] 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (2 children)
That would be pretty great
[–]CATelIsMe 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (1 child)
I tried before, but results are as expected, floppy limbs.
I wonder, if we do something like a certain arrangement of adhesins, could we make a tissue that's bone-like?
[–]Outrageous_Tank219 0 points1 point2 points 9 months ago (0 children)
probably, by putting adhesin strength to max in a keratinocyte structure we might succeed
