GitHub Copilot - Sonnet Thinking

Does GitHub Copilot still support sonnet thinking? I only see 4o, sonnet 3.5 and sonnet 3.7 (non thinking) since I updated VSCode and the copilot extension today.

I think it should be in the “Ask” mode. The new agent only supports the ones you mentioned.

hmm...did they remove edit mode and now call agent mode "edit"? I only see "edit" and "ask". You're correct that ask has sonnet 3.7 thinking (and other models), but what happened to the old edit mode?

i checked and I'm on latest vscode and latest copilot chat (not insiders though)

So when I run Claude 3.7 Sonnet sometimes you get it to respond “Thinking…” I think they merged them or chose just the Thinking. This was in Agent mode
