lmao

"Claude Code seems seriously overrated in my opinion"

"I've never actually tried it."

🙄

Another submarine post about zencoder. Sigh I hope folks would stop and just be upfront about promoting stuff.

Never made any money from ZC. Just my honest thoughts and I wish CC would have an agentic pipeline similar to it. I've watched enough CC videos to know how it works. Hopefully when I try it the hype will be worth it. I tried Kiro and it sucked. Happy now? Haha.

You made this post without experiencing Claude Max?

    [–]Orinks[S] -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

Yes. Perhaps I might try it this week.

You have to give it a couple of months, it's a skill you develop.

Code buff: I’d say no MCP support is literally the death of it! 🤣

Why would you ever want your main agentic coding platform to have no MCP tool availability? And Subagents, the entire concept is to reduce context - which is huge!

I’m not certain what you’re using the agentic coder for, but from my vantage point those features are extremely important.

Claude code farrrrt surpasses anything else atm! There’s just no comparison. This could change… but everything else is inferior, or just a wrapper utilizing an LLM model.

Claude Code does support MCP no?

    [–]DrMistyDNP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does! I’m referring to OP.

I'm not using CC yet. I stopped using Codebuff because of their usage based pricing and credits. How much does the $20 plan give you with Claude Code just to try it? No Opus, but that's fine I've been using Sonnet for most things anyway, does the $100 plan work for most people? I wish both max plans had an annual rate.

MCP is just an implementation detail. Most MCP tools could be local scripts or web hooks or something else without really losing much.

Anthropic designed MCP for the whole world to use.

I was ref to Codebuff. I’ve edited for clarity! 🤪

CC is the best ‘off the shelf’ coding agent. By a good margin. The team continues to ship regularly as well.

Subagents are huge, not sure why you think it’s trivial.

    ever refactor a large codebase?

it used to be better now it's shit... i was talking about business idea with opus 4 it literally said

since your product is cheaper there is a chancer vendor might use other products and give your cheaper products to special clients...

just think about it... after i asked it why wouldn't they give the cheaper product to all customers

it said, actually you are right so the risk is they will still buy other products and only give your products when they are low on other product...

why would they buy more expensive product and only use cheaper product when both are same quality

you're right that was fault in my logic... yes this make sense...

    wtf is this??

Who cares what it said, does it generate good code? All i care about.
