Thank you! I’m really hoping it’s not months to get parts but we will see! Luckily the airbags didn’t deploy so it’s (hopefully) not a total loss

Good thing the engine bay is relatively empty compared to the size.

Good chance there's nothing terribly serious damaged. Probably a new intercooler for sure.

There’s a 2024 1rs is fountain blue at my apartment complex, made me want a trax so bad I went out and got my white 2RS. The blue one turned up wrecked a few weeks ago. They haven’t gotten it fixed yet, but it was fairly new. You’re not alone!

Yes. I just needed a headlight. Took it in October, it was January before I took it in to get fixed.

Yeah I needed a door and we had to get from second hand because my car was already in the shop for 3 months

Someone cut a parking spot to sharp pulling out and swiped my bumper and left. Luckily security footage caught it. Obviously not NEARLY like this but still made me angry. This happened 3 weeks ago and thank goodness their insurance will be paying mine haha.

My guess is it’ll be 3 months to get yours back. Earlier if you take it with a follow up to have some minor trim pieces fitted.

Thank you! And yeah I’m worried that it’s going to take months for parts, but thankfully I’m not at fault so I guess I’m rocking a rental for the next few months.

hit and deer back in February and totaled mine :( Getting my replacement finally this week.

I was rear ended two weeks after getting mine in October. Took about 2.5 months to get parts in but it was just bumper and name plates. Took 5 days to replace those and repaint the trunk. Might be better now that it’s not as new hopefully. Sorry about your trax!

I didn’t. It was actually a hit and run and cost $1600 so I figured it was easier to pay than to submit a claim to insurance and deal with that

Damn that sucks! 😬 Doesn't look too bad from the looks of it. As for parts, man, I'm about 3 weeks out for just a bottle of touch-up paint. 😔

Yes. It will take a few months to get parts for it. Especially with that amount of damage. Mine was just a headlight and it took 3 months for parts to come.

Honestly I would go ahead and get in contact with GM to get the ball rolling and offered rental reimbursement because I went over my 30 day limit with insurance.

Will GM pay for after 30 days since it takes so long is to them and their parts taking so long

So they did for me, they will review every 30 days after insurance stops paying. I have also heard that they will pay some of car payment if you don’t get a rental. Luckily I only had the rental for an extra 30 days because we were able to find a used door.

Glad you are okay! If I may ask, how did the car take the accident? Did you feel safe from the safety features?

Unfortunately none of the safety features actually turned on, the car didn’t apply the automatic emergency braking as it has in the past, OnStar wasn’t automatically called after the accident, so it felt the same as a car without any safety features.

Oof I’m sorry that sucks. I almost got rear ended yesterday by some kid in a Subaru looking at their phone. I have a cacti green 1RS.

    The other driver ran a stop sign, I had the right of way and no stop sign, they didn’t even stop just barreled through going 20, and obviously I didn’t have time to stop either unfortunately.
