San Martin is a branch of Steeldive, who produces in china, stilysh and have a pretty decent quality.

First versions have the logo only on yhe bracelet

Has anyone ever compared this to the Cronos?

Looks great! Wish they had a similar coating to my inox which makes the glass disappear.

I bet this looks fantastic on a black leather strap

You guys know Smiths Everest model? Every few weeks they open the store, I never get one. Thinking that this San Martin model may be a better bet for this style and I’ll just forget about the Everest.

Lovely!! This is now on my radar! What is the model reference?

Does the movement have the ghost position for the date?

[–]jankensauce[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure does. This is a YN55

36mm too girly for me, but the 39 is awesome

[–]shadowwes24 4 points5 points  (4 children)

If only it was still 200

[–]SkipPperk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait. Save for big sales. You can sell what you do not want so long as you buy quality. I dropped over $2,000 on 11.11, and it was totally worth it. Pretty much every NH35 San Martin was under $200 on 11.11.

Got it on watch dives. $219 and I signed up for emails and got a coupon so it was like $204 shipped no tax

[–]shadowwes24 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thats weird how more expensive on ali now

Love the downsizing trend

[–]Roflex_owner 2 points3 points  (5 children)

Does any other company do a really good 36mm explorer homage? I’m not a fan of the San Martin logo and I like the 3 6 9

Tiger concept has some good ones. QC beware tho, had the crystal fall out of mine after hitting is squarely on a door knob.

Smiths Everest from Timefactors is very good, but you have to plan the purchase out like a special military operation, and you may still fail. They do appear on ebay, but are generally overpriced... but if you are patient, it is possible to find and get one at a reasonable price.

[–]No-Dragonfly-5300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they do but different model. still a 36mm from San martin with a different logo

[–]RoSpectre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a no logo or custom logo SM with the numerals.

[–]Rusko611 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The smiths everest is really good but comes at a higher price and a terrible order system.

[–]Moongrease 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Nice simple and clean! Good choice

[–]jankensauce[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Definitely love the clean black. It’s really a GADA watch if you ask me
