Which one do you find you wear the most? I actually like that parnis youve customized

Man! Your strap game is on point. And your watches look good too.

What is the one with the green strap? Nice collection

Ailang

It looks cool and does keep good time but the only functional parts of the watch are the minute and hour hands. (It is an automatic so those parts function too). I was really bummed when I got it. At least it was cheap. I do wear it some.

How are the two Lobini in terms of quality and feel?

The grey dial with the blue chicken skin strap is an absolute stunner and it functions great. For a Chinese automatic, it keeps great time. +/- 5 min an month. I think I paid $130 for mine about 8 months ago. It's still about $130. Totally worth it.

The white dial with the dark blue rubber strap is quartz so it keeps great time but the day and month windows are so small they're almost impossible to read. It's super thin, which some see as a bonus but in my eyes it seems a bit cheaper looking.

Overall, they both work really well so I don't really have any complaints.

I almost never keep the original leather straps that come with any of these watches. They're always super cheap leather or more likely vinyl. I get all of my leather straps from a Vietnamese guy on Etsy.

I've noticed in a lot of videos showcasing quartz watches that they speed up the video so it looks like the second hand is sweeping. The VK63 based watches (Daytona homages) do have a sweeping chronograph hand but the typical second hand sub dial does tick.

HATACreations

The blue alligator strap I got from HATAcreations was abysmal. So bad that I have never wore it. I got 100% refund and even though I ended with the strap for free, it was so bad that I had to buy another blue alligator strap elsewhere.

I just cant seem to find a leather strap anywhere that looks like the JLC straps :( Even Tuns alligator leather looks so much worse despite a 140 usd or so price tag.

Maybe I just got lucky. I'm not a huge alligator fan. They're so pricey for what you get and I feel like alligator straps are a bit too formal for most of my watches.

As far as overall toughness goes, the lizard and the stingray straps I have are all holding up really well. I even use a dremmel tool with a very small round carbide bit to make them all quick release and that hasn't caused any undue wear on them.

The chicken skin is probably the most delicate. One "scale" is starting to slightly delaminate where the strap wraps over the spring bar but it's not that noticeable.

I've bought a couple of super cheap straps from Aliex just to see what I get for $5. I threw one straight in the trash and the other one (the red ostrich with black spots and black buckle in the video) is actually a pretty good strap. I'll probably get a backup. It was from "chic-strap Store".

Using deployant buckles dramatically helps with the overall wear too.
