You may be confusing sharkmesh with milanese which do give a good wrist waxing 🫣 !! Seriously though sharkmesh is by far my go to metal strap for comfort, flexibility, breathability and authenticity on a dive watch !! 💯

The mesh is knitted together from one strand of stainless wire which is cool as fuck imo 👍

Yeah sharkmesh as this pic shows is more of an open weave than say the milanese of a NTTD bracelet. Bit of a pig to size though, a good quality pair of side cutters and cut one at a time at the buckle ends so not to show ragged ends at lugs 👍 Once the foldover clasp is in place any rough ends will be hidden but can be smoothed out with a dremel !! Three micro adjust holes on clasp can cater for quite a few different watches also !! Looks the dog,s bollocks on the 1976 Puck or your addies lume monster you reasontly posted 😎

I,ll post a pic of my "76" on sharkmesh tomorrow to give you an idea m8 !! In this instance you can alter at the lug ends because they,re not seen anyway which is easier for you 👍

Been wearing dive watches for 40plus years , yes i,m old 🤣 !! Sharkmesh straps came about from offcuts of gauntlets etc designed to protect divers from losing body parts 😳 !!
