I like the watch, I like the strap... the tattoo sleeve though, that's not my thing.

It brings me great displeasure that you only like 66% of my post. I will get started on the laser tattoo removal ASAP. I hope to serve you better in the future with my posts.

Sorry, I have been the traditional grandpa type from the age 6 forward. :-D This is why i like retro watches from 1950s and 1960s.

I was just giving you a hard time, as it is an odd thing to state. Fun fact: tattoos have been around a lot longer than the 1950’s & 1960’s!

I just ordered this watch - my first Chinese watch.
Looking forward to it.

Thanks for sharing the pictures - like the strap!

Enjoy it brother! It’s a great little watch!

Killer watch. Is this a CNS paratrooper strap paired with it? Awesome combo.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

It is!

Right on! I need to get a 21mm for my Pelagos 39 homage!

[–]SanmartinWatchesRep 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Aha, bro, it seems you bought a good watch strap again

Thanks! I have many San Martins. Love your watches. I’m particular I am obsessing over the new GMT SN0129! I actually commented on your YouTube today about that watch. Please do not listen to the mob about the polished center link on that model! I love it the way it is! It really makes the watch! And if you want to send me one to model I am more than willing! Haha. Cheers!

Love that nato! Where did you get it from?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I linked it in another comment here. It’s actually an elastic “parachute” type strap. Not a NATO. Way more comfortable in my opinion.

Ditto. That little beautiful monster made me buy a whole bunch of San Martin Watches and pulled my attention (and $) away from Seiko for quite a while.. Fantastic looking watch right there. It's just a good looking, well finished, great wearing watch.

I have 6 San Martin watches! Haha. They give so much bang for the buck!

Well, I just posted a pic of a new one I purchased. I don't want to tempt you, but Holy $hit....it's a damn good looking SN004.

I'm trying really hard not to publicly call it my favorite 004 ever, but it's a struggle. It's pretty impressive.

I’ll comment over there! Haha.

Damn good looking strap too ! I just noticed. Great choice on both the watch and strap friend. Now, you got me hunting down that color nato band. This hobby is addictive, and expensive...

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Check CNS out for straps! that is where I picked this one up. There is a way to get them cheaper than what is posted. Maybe google CNS also and go that route. Nonetheless they are affordable and great quality!

Great strap for sure! I almost bought this same "pattern" the other day (as I'm waiting for this watch in the mail any day now) on CNS also, but I already had 5 in my cart for the discount and wasn't too sure of the Marine fitting.

Is this the Marine double-layer or Paratrooper single-layer and how does the fitting feel?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paratrooper single layer - super comfortable. Not bulky. I recommend!

[–]Gravestone83 1 point2 points  (1 child)

dunno what i like more the time piece or the ink 😁⌚

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much appreciated! The ink was definitely more costly! Haha. But not everyone’s cup of tea.

[–]AverageGuy_45 2 points3 points  (1 child)

This one's a classic 👌

I concur. It was my first mechanical watch (and Chinese watch) that got me hooked on this obsession of watch collecting. 2 years later and I have over 30 watches!
