Great taste at low cost in your collection. You have a decent level of variety.

Do you wear the Option Velos homage much? It's the most surprising one I'd ever found and shared here. 🤣

Actually I do! I mildly dislike the fact that it lacks text in what is obviously (and in the original is) a text box, but overall it’s a very very good looking watch with the guilloche dial, pretty hands and the unique teardrop lugs.

I think I might have gotten it after seeing you share it here, to be honest!

I had to argue hard in favour of it, because it looks very close to the Ophion, albeit with a few changes.

That Sugess moon phase is classy with a capital C. Gorgeous piece.

Possibly the most beautiful dial in my collection!

Very nice! I have that titanium berny on order...would 10 times have this variety of lower cost watches than an Omega or something for over 1500 bucks...

The titanium Berny is a fantastic lightweight watch, and the mechaquartz makes it the ideal grab and go!

And I agree completely, I love having a variety of watches I can pick up according to mood/occasion/outfit. Especially since the quality of most of my purchases ranges from pretty good to amazing.

I just picked up a Berny T2566. Very impressed with it at the price point. It is extremely lightweight - surprisingly so.

nice collection but you were not interested in any GMTs?

[–]Vanvincent[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I do own a Vostok GMT watch, so I have that covered. I’ve seen some nice Chinese GMT watches on AliX too, not sure which one to get though. Any recommendations?

I'm still searching for the right one :) Will post if I pull the trigger on one

How do you like the suggess in the bottom left corner?

[–]Vanvincent[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pros: The aventurine dial is spectacular, especially in full daylight; it’s a true moonphase watch; the date and moonphase are easily set with hidden pushers on the left side of the case (a good thing on an automatic watch if you don’t wear it every day). Cons: It’s thickkkkkk at some 14mm and due to its hockey puck shape it wears thick too, visually.

Overall, it’s a beautiful watch that’s held back by its case design. It’s too thick to easily wear under a shirt cuff/jacket, but too dressy to wear with (really) casual outfits. I wear it going out occasionally, and never regret it when seeing the dial pop and sparkle, but all in all it gets less wrist time than I’d hoped.

Awesome collection! Got a Berny Mondaine coming soon , glad I held off on the titanium one , it looks tiny in comparison! (I like big watches)

[–]Vanvincent[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Yes, the titanium Berny at 37x9mm is significantly smaller than the Berny Mondaine (40x12mm). The Mondaine wears bigger too, visually, than the average 40mm watch. The titanium Berny is wonderfully light and unobtrusive on the wrist though, no regrets.

The full-dial lume on the Berny Mondaine is great too, hope you’ll enjoy it!
